A Though From Your Pastor:
Angels Verses Christians; Which Are More Blessed.
“Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:” Psalms 104:4
I love Angels they are indeed outside of Christians the most blessed of all Gods creation, as far as I know. I certainly do not know what God has created in heaven but I only speak as far as I know. I believe the most blessed of God are Christians because of all God creation we are chosen to be the Children Of God Now speaking as one of Gods children I can assure you I am blessed more than any other creature in creation. God created Angels to be His servants and servants is what they are. Please do not think like some that when people die they become angels they do not, there is absolutely no evidence of this in the scriptures. Jesus told us that He has gone to prepare a place for us and it will be a place for Gods children and not for angels. The Psalmist testified in Psalms 104:4 that God created angels as spirits, which are like unto God Whom is also a Spirit. While we know that they can transform into human bodies (Genesis 19) there is no evidence that they are human Hebrews 13:2. God uses His angles in the most blessed ways, they minister Matthew 4:11, they serve God in many ways to accomplish His will, they attend church services 1 Peter 1:12, they collect the Christians who die and escort them to heaven Luke 16:22, as they will collect the Believers in the rapture Mark 13:26 & 27, And as well as many other duties. As far as we know angels are the most blessed and used of Gods creation outside of us Gods children. To be a child of God must be the most blessed because God gave so much for our redemption the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus His own dear and beloved Son. God provided no redemption as such for the angels; if they sin they fall to eternal damnation with Satan. However, with that being said He continually forgives our sins through the blood of Jesus who also died for us. For people to compare Christians to Angels is unfair to the angels. God has blessed us both and used us both mightily in so many ways, and while God may appear to use Angels in more blessed ways it is Christians whom is the most blessed because we are the carriers of the glorious gospel and we are the delivers of it to the lost. I personally believe this is the most important thing any creature in existence can do for God. However while we are both blessed of God and neither one (angels or man) deserve any of God blessing we are both supremely and abundantly blessed. We all (both angels and believers) will spend all eternity praising and glorifying God and our Saviour Jesus Christ for all eternity. I wrote this because I hear so many speaking of Christians as angels once they die, but this is far from the truth. Christians are not angels and angels will not be blessed in being Gods children. We are different in so many ways and at the same time we all serve the Lord in so many different ways but, oh, how blessed we all truly are to serve God and to be elected of God to be his own. We are not to worship angels Revelation 19:10, we are also not to make false images of angels Deuteronomy 5:8. They are spirits and we have no true image of them, just as we have no true image of Christ Jesus, so therefore they are all false images.
A Thought For The Week:
What delusions!"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9
O! what a wretched being is man, when left to himself! Every evil nestles in his heart, producing a thousand stings to torment him in time and through eternity.
It is awful to think what delusions men practice upon themselves. Through the artifices of Satan, and the false reasonings of their own hearts, they are deceived to their own ruin.
They compare themselves with those who are more notoriously wicked; and thus think themselves good.
They magnify their supposed virtues, and soften down their vices.
They presume upon the mercy of God, as if He were too benevolent to put His threatenings into execution; or in other words, too good to be true.
They depend upon a 'death bed repentance', not considering that repentance is the work of the Holy Spirit.
They disbelieve the eternity of hell torments, as being a punishment too cruel and severe for the all bounteous Creator to inflict upon His erring creatures.
They deny the particular providence of God; esteeming it beneath His glorious Majesty, to inspect their trivial concerns, or to notice each trifling deviation from His Law.
They suppose the Almighty to be such a one as themselves.

The only thing that makes you differ:
"But by the grace of God I am what I am." 1 Cor. 15:1021
Christian! The only thing that makes you differ from the vilest being that pollutes the earth, or from the darkest fiend that gnaws his chains in hell, is the free grace of God!
