We are not worthy in and of ourselves. But when the Lord
saves us, we become worthy in Him and are to walk in a manner worthy of our
calling and election. We are to walk in the light, in the Lord who alone is
worthy of all glory and honour and praises!
Matthew 10:38 And he
that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not WORTHY of me.
Romans 8:18 For I
reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not WORTHY to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Colossians 1:10 That
ye might walk WORTHY of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every
good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
II Thessalonians 1:11
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you WORTHY
of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work
of faith with power:
Revelation 4:11 Thou
art WORTHY, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast
created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
