That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal
life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. (John 3:15-16)
The promise of salvation is offered to those who simply believe.
Eternal life is the gift to the believer who places their trust in
Jesus Christ, God's one and only son.
