Proverbs 30:5
“Every word of God is pure; he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”O how precious the Word of God should be to us. The Bible is the purest and most profound volume of books ever written. It is a personal letter from God to His chosen people. The very personal thoughts and lessons from our Heavenly Father. God's telling of His love and how strong that love is for His children. Yet we so many times neglect the reading and the studying of God's Word.
Child of God I encourage you to delve into God's word today and everyday. Make it point to read every morning and evening what our Lord has for us. Fore it is by constant study of God's Word that we might stave off the fiery darts of the devil. It is by the reading of God's Word that He will shows us how to live and how to deal with the old wicked world we live in. By the study of God's Word we are reminded who we are and whose we are.
