From Our Pastor:

Hell Awaits The Lost.
Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

We see here who will be in heaven and who will not. When the books are opened and they are judged from them (these books contain their works) they will be cast into hell, into the eternal lake of fire because their names were not written in the Lambs book of life. Folks, salvation is not about us, it is not about baptism, works, what church you are a member of, it is about one single and that man is Jesus Christ. Everyone who will ever believe has their name written in the book and it is not possible to enter heaven without your name being written down. It is the blood of Jesus Christ who died and shed His blood for the sins of those who are written in the book of life, the question is, is your name written there or are you wanting to be judged out of the books. If you are at the great white throne for judgment then you name is not written there. Revelation 20:13 "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works."

For Our Weekly  Meditation:

With All Thine Heart
It is written: “thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” (Deut. 6:5)

For most folks this is just another stern commandment from the eternal living God of the heavens and the earth.  But, in reality it is not a harsh commandment; it is a blessed command of privilege. When one considers mankind throughout all the ages, very few have received the grace of God that enabled them to love Him.  The carnal nature of man despises the very thought of a sovereign eternal God and by nature desires no holy relationship with Him.  Only when there is a new birth by grace does love spring from the new creature crying “Abba, Father.”  The new creature has a natural love of God.

One can only and truly fulfill the commands of God out of love, because one who obeys out of love is vastly different from one who obeys out of fear.  Love is free while fear is subjugated to a harsh bondage.  The difference between religion and Christianity is fear and love.  Religion rules over its subjects with the fears of dos and don’ts and is all its life fearful of failure; but Christianity is dancing in the Waltz of Grace.  An irresistible love for the Father and the Lord Jesus joyfully brings the child in loving obedience to the Father’s will.

The new creature formed in the blood of Jesus unto salvation is made partaker of the divine nature of the Heavenly Father.  This new child born of the Spirit adores the Father with an awesome love.  It is an inexpressible love that permeates the entire mind, body, and spirit of the believing one.  It is a giving over of the whole of one’s self to the LORD.  There is no dreaded fear involved, only unspeakable joy.

The unusual form of the Hebrew word translated “heart” suggests that there are two hearts, or a two-sided heart, involved.  Both the carnal and the spiritual heart of the believing one lovingly surrender all emotions, passions, and desires to the will of the Father.  This surrender is immediately followed by the complete mind that processes and dissimulates every word and instruction of the Father.  Then with all one’s might the whole will of God is put into action in everyday life, not out of fear, but out of love.  There is absolute obedience, the spirit overriding the flesh to do the will of God.  It is a blessed privilege to be able to love God with all the heart, the soul, and the might!

A Thought From C. L. Spurgeon:

“He arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights.” 1 Kings 19:8

All the strength supplied to us by our gracious God is meant for service, not for wantonness or boasting. When the prophet Elijah found the cake baked on the coals, and the cruse of water placed at his head, as he lay under the juniper tree, he was no gentleman to be gratified with dainty fare that he might stretch himself at his ease; far otherwise, he was commissioned to go forty days and forty nights in the strength of it, journeying towards Horeb, the mount of God. When the Master invited the disciples to “Come and dine” with him, after the feast was concluded he said to Peter, “Feed my sheep”; further adding, “Follow me.” Even thus it is with us; we eat the bread of heaven, that we may expend our strength in the Master’s service. We come to the passover, and eat of the paschal lamb with loins girt, and staff in hand, so as to start off at once when we have satisfied our hunger. Some Christians are for living on Christ, but are not so anxious to live for Christ. Earth should be a preparation for heaven; and heaven is the place where saints feast most and work most. They sit down at the table of our Lord, and they serve him day and night in his temple. They eat of heavenly food and render perfect service. Believer, in the strength you daily gain from Christ labour for him. Some of us have yet to learn much concerning the design of our Lord in giving us his grace. We are not to retain the precious grains of truth as the Egyptian mummy held the wheat for ages, without giving it an opportunity to grow: we must sow it and water it. Why does the Lord send down the rain upon the thirsty earth, and give the genial sunshine? Is it not that these may all help the fruits of the earth to yield food for man? Even so the Lord feeds and refreshes our souls that we may afterwards use our renewed strength in the promotion of his glory.
