Blue Letter Bible

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh
reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life
everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall
reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:8-9)
If we sow the things of the flesh (that is, the
things of sin), then we will reap eternal punishment; but if we sow the things
of the Spirit (that is, the things of God), then we will reap eternal happiness
and joy! As we sow the things of God and cultivate them we must keep pressing
on. It may seem that our work is worthless, but in the end, we will reap
eternal life with God. For what better harvest could we hope?
