A Thought From our Pastor:
“You Are Condemned Already”“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:18
This is the greatest and most important question you will ever be asked, are you saved? If I had my way every sinner would be saved and none would be condemned, but that is God’s choice and not mine. People move around and never think about that they are condemned to eternal hell if they are not saved. At the same time, you have billions of people who attend worship services who think they are saved and are not. All these people are not going to be condemned, they already are. People treat salvation as if it is meaningless, but it is not, it is the most important thing in your life. Money means nothing, fame means nothing, power means nothing, and etc. etc. etc... God said the road to eternal ruin is wide because so many travel it. Listen to what the Prophet Isaiah said in 5:14 “Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.” Many of these who will descend in to the fires of hell will be good people, many call themselves Christian, many are powerful in this world, many are Pastors and Ministers, many attended worship services and give every day to their assemblies, in our eyes they could not be better people, but in God’s eyes they are as filthy rags who must be condemned. “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Isaiah 64:6 It is sad that so many people think they are saved but are actually still in the condemned state. People have since the fall of Adam thought they controlled their own destiny, they have wrongfully thought that they could please God and God would accept their works. Cain thought that, and that’s why he killed his brother. Esau thought that but we all know that God never loved him. People fail to understand that God’s love is not earned, nor bought, but given as an act of love and grace. God shed His Son’s blood at Calvary because of His love for people. Not all people, but some, therefore the thought that God’s love is for every person on earth is false. John 3:16 does not mean that God loved everyone because it is proven He does not. John 3:16 means that God loved both Jews and Gentiles, not every single person. To deny this you will hear preachers say God hates the sin and not the sinner, but God said: “The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.” Psalms 5:5 Now who are the “workers of iniquity”, anyone who is lost and without Jesus Christ in their heart. Another false narrative and doctrine falsely taught is that man does something to save themselves. Many of these folks are going to hell and not heaven. Some God will save even in their ignorance. God said in John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Now look up the word “draw” in the Greek and it says to “drag”. This is because people do not want to be saved, they want a form of godliness while denying thereof. “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:5 So many have not accepted the powers of God and are turned away, they are lost and condemned already. If you believe in some sort of works to save you, you are also condemned already. “(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)” Romans 9:11 Therefore, I must ask this question, are you in a condemned state? If you have not believed on Jesus Christ, then you are lost and condemned. If you believe in anything and Jesus Christ, then you are condemned already. God point blank said in John 3:18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

" WERE YOU RECONCILED TO GOD? "By Curtis Pugh
Men as they are naturally born are at enmity with God. “...the carnal mind is enmity against God...” (Romans 8:7). This enmity is seen in men's actions: “...know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God,” (James 4:4). The love of sin displays human beings for what they are: enemies of God.
Once Adam walked with God, but he fell from that holy estate, becoming the enemy of God. We, his offspring, display our love for the world and its sins. But Christ came to destroy this enmity. Paul wrote of this reconciliation work of Christ in Romans 5:10, saying: “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”
Often we hear of people saying that they have made peace with God. Humbug! How can a sinner make peace with a holy God? How can he pay for his sins other than by receiving the just reward for his deeds? And how can a sinner do what Jesus Christ has already done?
Notice that this reconciliation took place when we who are no longer enemies were yet enemies. So those who were reconciled, being yet enemies of God, had nothing to do with bringing this reconciliation to pass. Christ accomplished it by His death! You and I were not even alive back then! If you are reconciled to God it is something that God did for you before you existed.
Paul says that those reconciled by the death of Christ are safe for they shall be “saved by his life.” Now either they will be finally and completely saved and are therefore safe, or they are not. In spite of what you may have been told, those for whom Christ died are reconciled and are safe for they “shall be saved by his life.”
The question is expressed by our title: Were You Reconciled to God? You were not there. Can you know for sure and if so, how? The knowledge of your reconciliation comes from God's Word to those who have had an experience of grace: to those in whom the Holy Spirit resides. Again we quote Paul who wrote: “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his,” (Romans 8:9). No good works or religious rituals can cause the Spirit of God to dwell in you! The moving-in of the Holy Ghost is called being born again and man's acts and will have nothing to do with it for this experience comes, “...not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God,” (John 1:13). Have you had a genuine experience of grace? That is the question!
