Our trials teach us the vanity of this life.
Our trials prove our faith.
Our trials give us patience.
Our trials make Christ precious to us.
Our trials have a way of detaching us from this world.
Our trials teach us to pray.
"Trials make the promise sweet,
Trials give new life to prayer;
Trials bring me to His feet,
Lay me low and keep me there!"
