Devils Smarter Than Most Men

“And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.… And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.” (Mark 3:6, 11)

It is simply amazing to me how all the great religions of the world in all their mystical ritualisms with self-righteous pageantries and ceremonial spiritualities have up till now not one single clue who Jesus really is. Yet, all the devils of hell with whom they dwell know exactly beyond any doubt that Jesus is “the Son of God”. The realm of eternal condemnation is their habitation, but they are blind to the truths revealed out of the great abyss and their ears deaf to the cries bellowing out of the gates of hell. The eternal deceiver and his demons dance in grand merriment over their ignorance of Jesus.The religionists seek to destroy with all their horrid doctrines the knowledge of the only hope of eternal life and forgiveness of sin.

The devils know their destiny: “And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?”(Matt. 8:29)The devils know what lost men do not know or dare to gaze into.They are compelled by their hate to seek to destroy Jesus and to bar other from entering into His salvation.They have no hope in the Son of God and strive to lead men’s hearts away from the Son of Hope.

Religionists readily admit there is a God, but that is no holiest of wonders. Is it not written: “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” (James 2:19)The demons of hell are far smarter than lost men, for the demons not only believe there is only one God but they firmly know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Lost men in their blindness are still groping amidst the dark veil of the valley of dead men souls.

Flee to the cross of Jesus and know of His saving power.Encounter the Jesus of Calvary and drink from the well of salvation!
