A Thought From our Pastor:   God Is No Respecter Of People. “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:” Acts 10:34   We have a world full of hate, people who have misused the scriptures for their own selfish hate of other people. Anyone who uses the contents of the bible, Gods Holy Word in a mispresented way will surly give full account to Jesus Christ in Judgement. As Christians it is not our choice who to love and respect in this world. People who hate because of the color of their skin, their nationality, or any other reason is wrong. Black, whites, yellow, and red and all other colors in between are wrong to hate because of our skin color. No one is better than the other (unless you are saved by God’s grace), and segregation in any way is disappointing. When children grow up and are taught to hate because of any reason is a disgrace to God’s and His Word. I have never seen a Nation more divided as it is right now in America. Nothing but hate on both sides in an attempt to promote one color over another. Lies told on all sides. People ought to be ashamed of themselves but instead use racial issues to conjure up hate simply for the love of money. Some of them call themselves Pastors or “Reverends” (which only God is a Reverend), they call themselves Christians, and cause the scriptures say what it does not in order to falsely prove what they mean. People who never goes to church and using God’s word as though they know what God is saying. Most of these people never go to God’s house for a biblical education. God never told Christian people to separate themselves as though one race or nationality is more respected than the other. God loves people from all over the world, without respect to who or what they are. When God said in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” He means people from all over the world and not just the Jews. Israel is God chosen Nation but God never said He only loved them or that He loved every Jew. God loves them that He elected before the foundation of the world without respect to persons. All these people who cause this hate in the world will one day die and stand in judgement for their sins against God. They will also pay account for separating the scriptures in their true meaning making them into a lie. The hate between people has to stop, and it has to stop now. If you teach anyone it is ok to hate, you are guilty before God. You must understand the hate conjured up by these hatemongers are for profit, you always look at the money. "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." 1 Timothy 6:10 Division, segregation or any sort of separating people for the sake of division is ungodly. If you teach young children to hate anyone you are wrong. God is about love, kindness, meekness, gentleness, and unity.  Romans 2:10 - 12 "But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: (11.) For there is no respect of persons with God. (12.) For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;”

A Welcome Guest! When others must roar for sorrow of heart — you shall sing for the joy of heart!   Consider, you must have . . . all your well-spent life to follow you — instead of all your sins; the glorious blessings of the gospel — instead of the dreadful curses and condemnations of the law; the blessing of the loving Father — instead of a fiery sentence from the righteous Judge.   Let death come when it will, it can do you no harm; for it will be but only a passage . . .    out of a prison — into a palace;    out of a sea of troubles — into a haven of rest;    out of a crowd of enemies — into an innumerable company of true, loving, and faithful friends;    out of shame, reproach, and contempt — into exceeding great and eternal glory!   For death shall not hurt you with his sting, nor bite you with his soul-murdering teeth; but shall be a welcome guest to you — in that it is sent to free you from your troubles which you are in, while here in this poor world. "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain!" Philippians 1:21 "I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far!" Philippians 1:23

My object and aim: By James Smith   My object is to lead the mind . . .    from SELF — to Jesus;    from sin — to salvation;    from the troubles of life — to the comforts of the gospel. My aim is . . .    to humble the sinner — and exalt the Savior;    to strip the creature — and place the crown       on the head of God's free grace!  I cannot ascribe too much to Jesus — or too little to man!
